This year’s screening includes such films as Bill Plympton’s animated “Krazy Kock“, “La Femme Fellatio” and the charmingly repulsive “Shameless” (don’t watch it on a full stomach).

The 69 Hour Film Challenge
and The Neutrino Video Project

This year we are trying something new! Wednesday, October 11 - The Neutrino Video Project will be the launch site of The Hard Liquor and Porn 69 Hour Film Challenge. It’s like one of those 48 hour film challenges but theres extra time to relax, have a martini and snuggle.
At 9pm on Wednesday film makers will be given porn related dialog, action and sound bytes which must be used in their short film. Then they have only 69 hours to complete their film so it can be screened on Saturday Night at the Bloor Cinema.
So if you’re kicking yourself because you missed the submission deadline this year take the 69 hour challenge and join a team!
The Neutrino Video Project is a monthly show where the city’s top improvisers create a ‘live’ feature film. Four camera crews take to the streets to shoot, edit, score and mix a completely improvised movie in the time it takes you to watch it. The theme for the evening will of course be PORN!

The 2006 Hard Liquor and Porn Film Festival wants you to finally make that film you’ve been talking about all these years! Make a short video or animation ( 4 minutes max ). Something fun, sexy, outrageous, etc. that has to do with sex and send it to us. Live action shorts, animations, music videos, mockumentaries, parodies, etc. Anything that would be entertaining to a crowd of drunken merrymakers. Even though the hallmarks of the porn genre are bad writing, bad acting and cheesy music please feel free to not make crap.
Darryl’s Hard Liquor and Porn Film Festival is a comedy short film festival that parodies porn. It’s not a showcase of real industrial strength hardcore ‘adult’ films but it is a groovy place for film makers to go wild and do things that you can’t show on normal TV. It’s all about having fun.
