69 HOUR FILM CHALLENGE RULES AND REGS
First of all - Darryl's Hard Liquor and Porn Film Festival is a COMEDY short film festival. We like to show funny short films for adults only. We may show some real porn, but only if it's funny. Sorry if that bursts your bubble.
The 69 Hour Film Challenge is a short film competition where teams of film makers have 69 hours to make a short film for The Hard Liquor and Porn Film Festival.
The Challenge is open to anyone (19+) anywhere in the world. Click here to sign up
In order for a film to qualify for the competition it must be 4 minutes or less and contain at least 3 items from a secret list of 10 items revealed in the first hour of the challenge. All team members must be 19 years of age or older. The film must not contain unlicensed music, company logos or merchandise. A CD will be provided in the filmmaker's package with music you can use or you can make your own or get permission. All teams are required to get signed release forms from everyone appearing in their films.
All teams must provide their own equipment, cast and crew. The average consumer has all the necessary equipment to shoot and edit a film. You can even make a movie with a cellphone camera.
Do yourself, and us, a big favour by getting a digital still camera and taking lots of high resolution production stills and promo stills that the newspapers can use.
The challenge starts at 6pm on Wednesday Nov. 21, 2007. The secret list will be published online at launch time. Filmmakers can also pick up the secret package at The SAT between 6pm and 9pm.
All films must be recieved in an acceptable format with a signed entry form at The SAT either in person or through the internet by 3pm Saturday Nov. 24, 2007.
Films will be screened that night at the Hard Liquor and Porn Film Festival at 9pm. One film will be selected by a panel of judges to win The Best 69 Hour Film Award.
We reserve the right not to show any film for any reason including film quality, content, lack of avaliable time. etc.
